Terms and Conditions

Meme Manifesto and Article Accord: In the age of endless digital content, stumbling upon a meme, article, or video that screams the other person’s name is not just serendipity—it’s a sign. Thus, we decree that sharing these digital gems is not only allowed but encouraged, provided they have the power to uplift, amuse, or enlighten.

In Case of Alien Abduction: Should one party be unexpectedly abducted by extraterrestrials, immediate communication is permitted, preferably with proof of alien existence to make the interruption worthwhile.

Sporting Spectacle: If a sports game ends in an unbelievable manner (a last-second touchdown, a buzzer-beater shot, a home run to win the game), a brief conversation is warranted to debrief and decompress from the excitement.

Kiribati Clause for Time Zone Travelers: Recognizing the ambiguity around time zone for this arrangement, if one party finds themselves technically, spiritually, or otherwise in “Sunday” according to Kiribati time (the first place on Earth to welcome the day), they are granted international date line privileges.

The Buddy the Elf Protocol: In the event one encounters a “hissing monster” (a.k.a. an unusually loud radiator or any similarly confusing household situation), a call is permitted to discuss potential elf strategies for calming the beast, including but not limited to singing Christmas carols to it.

Pet Antics Amendment: Should Benji do something outrageously funny or adorable, immediate sharing of photographic evidence is mandatory, because pets don’t understand human schedules.

The “Days That End in Y” Clause: Recognizing the rarity and special nature of days that conclude with the letter “Y,” we hereby grant permission for communication on these unique occasions. Given that Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all mysteriously end with “Y,” we find it in our hearts to allow for this loophole. This clause is crafted with the understanding that, sometimes, every day is the right day for a smile, a word, or a shared silence.
